I’m Lisa. I live in Nottinghamshire with my husband, daughter and our cocker spaniel, Albus.

I am a creative person and I’m constantly inspired by the creativity of the small businesses that I work with. Finding new small businesses on my travels and supporting them is something that brings me a lot of joy.

Wellbeing is an important thing for me. Yoga and mindfulness are practices that I include in my everyday. I love a beautiful place to work and a visually peaceful and inspirational work space helps me to work better.

I am a huge fan of historic architecture and big countryside walks. I'm always at my happiest when outdoors and visiting a National Trust Property. I often feel this balances out the technology based side of what I do.

I love gardening and if you follow me on Instagram you will often see my desk featuring flowers from my garden, which has evolved to have its own cut flower plot.

I started Lisa King Design & Consultancy 10 years ago after spending 8 years as a marketing manager in a national organisation before that. My love for small businesses and the opportunity to support them in having a great online presence lead me to going freelance and doing a job I love.

I have a degree in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and I have worked with a varying range of small and large companies over my career. My marketing experience covers many types of businesses in a whole host
of industries.
